Open Government – Open Government: Chapters and authors

With the book “Open Government - Open Government” already dedicated to the publishing house and in expectation of his presentation in the next weeks, this is a gratitude post to all the friends and friends who embarked in this project, since thanks to his time, knowledge and disinterested effort has prepared a text, the first one on this discipline in our language, that I am sure it is going to be of forced consultation in the next years.

The text that they will be able to have in his hands in a few weeks, is a fruit many working time so much individual on the part of every author as of debate colaborativo across the wiki of the book, a shared space that has served as technical, affective mortar and as debate for all the authors.

In addition to the "canonical" chapters (Transparence, Collaboration and Participation) we have tried to add visions and sectorial that contemplate the idea of Open Government from diverse perspectives that bring him democratic openwork for our societies. All this from a deep didactic and reflective emulation that is transverse to all the chapters.

Introduction - For César Calderón and Sebastián Lorenzo

Sebastián Lorenzo: Sebastián Lorenzo is an Argentinian, he was born in 1974 in the province of Between Rivers and at present he is taken root in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. Technician in Processes of the Communication. Vice-president of FONTICS, National Forum of the Technologies of the Computer science and the Communications. Founder of the International Forum of the Digital Societies. Founder of the Latin-American Observatory of Open Government. It has offered numerous conferences on civil participation in Internet for government organizations and of the civil society in countries of South America, Central America and Spain. He usually publishes articles in international magazines specializing in electronic governance.

There has been the person in charge of on-line and web communication 2.0 of T-Systems Iberia, also “Open ProPolis“ was a part from the beginning of the platform on e-government and at present of Open Government (www.ogov.eu) dedicated to offering contents and community concerning the concept of Open Government. The blog publishes from the year 2003 on technology, political communication and public administration K-Government (www.k-government.com) in addition to taking part in diverse projects related to the innovation in the Public administration.

Chapter 3: Collaboration, for Javier Llinares

Founder and President of Autoritas Consulting, counsel based on a model Open to offer extra cost services to the Public administration and he is a Member of the Council of Administration of New Computer Solutions and of Consulting Informático and Outsourcing.
